Laurie is gentle, kind and very responsible. My kitties were well cared for and immediately took to her (they don't take to everyone!) She is also an interesting human being. Laurie has a very humble and warm personality. She is very self-sufficient, capable and cared with love and commitment for our home and our elderly cat. She is easy approachable and communicates effectively which made us relaxed and let go of our worries; we trusted her from the start. We left Laurie, not only to take care of our sweet dog and cat, but also to watch our house. Laurie sent great pictures of the two pets throughout the week, and they looked like they were always chillin. I don't think they missed me at all. Laurie took care of the mail and the newspapers for us as well. She made my plants look better than when we left, and even left us a homemade treat when we returned from our trip! I would recommend Laurie highly, and we will definitely use her again.

Laurie Adams came to our home to watch our 3 month-old puppy, Rae, for two days and two nights. We couldn’t have been happier with her services, her attitude, her communication, and her professionalism. Laurie took time early in the week leading up to our vacation to come by the house and meet our puppy, as well as to get a feel for the house and the neighborhood. She was willing to ask questions and explain what we should expect from her. She came in quietly and calmly and in a short time was sitting on the floor with a couple of my most shy dogs sitting beside her while she scratched their heads. She took the time to get to know each of them and their special needs. She also took the time to send me pictures every day and even a couple short videos. Since I tend to worry about my "puppykids" as a mother, this was much appreciated. When we arrived home, my dogs were well fed, walked and happy. The house was just as we left it and she even took it upon herself to wash the sheets and the towels she had used. She also left us a "goody bag" in the refrigerator of sweet treats after our long drive home. I definitely would recommend Laurie as a house/pet sitter and hope to have her back to watch my dogs again in the future.

Our house had the A/C and the cable/internet go out, we think because of a lightning strike while she was here (thankfully out of the house at the time). When she realized the problem, she got right on getting it fixed. She worked hard to get things back to normal for when we came home, even covering the cost of repairs until we could repay her.
She also took great care of the pets and would send us 1-2 pictures a day.

It's an unusual situation in that the cat comes and goes, does not live in the house, and cannot be handled.
